Where are we?

Le Moulin de La Roque, located in a 16th century windmill, is one of the leading producers of the Bandol appellation.

Founded in 1950, Le Moulin de La Roque cellar was initially designed for the maturing of Bandol red wines for 18 months, a requirement imposed by the appellation.

In 1964, through the efforts of the winegrowers and following numerous investments, Le Moulin de La Roque became a wine production cellar for Bandol wines.

In 2006, the winery merged with the Beausset site.

In 2012, a new winery was inaugurated on the exceptional Castellet site. This eco-designed structure is perfectly in line with our sustainable development policy.

Spread over the 8 districts of the Bandol appellation, the vineyards boast 5 distinct terroirs.

Who are we?

Today, the company is made up of 200 winegrowers and employs 14 staff members year round.

The vineyards of Le Moulin de La Roque cover a total surface area of 310 hectares, 265 of which are in the Bandol appellation.

ISO 9001 certified, Le Moulin de la Roque is committed to a quality strategy that guarantees compliance with the strict regulatory requirements concerning consumer food safety and traceability of its wines.  Since 2010, this approach has expanded with the winery receiving NF V01 007 certification.

In 2007, Le Moulin de la Roque became a member of Vignerons en Développement Durable, a strategy that perfectly blends our winery’s environmental, social and economic goals.

What do we produce?

Mourvedre, the leading grape variety of Bandol wines, fully expresses its typical characteristics in the 5 Bandol appellation terroirs covered by Le Moulin de la Roque.

In combination with grenache and cinsault, it produces exceptional wines in different red, rosé and white cuvées.

  • Les Adrets, Bandol appellation wines to be discovered
  • Les Beaumes, typical Bandol wines for drinking pleasure
  • La Grande Réserve, Gourmet wine for connoisseurs
  • Domaine de Nartette wines, an estate belonging to the Conservatoire du Littoral (Coastal protection agency), produced its first Organic cuvées in 2012
  • Esprit Terroirs, a special discovery case with 5 bottles produced from Le Moulin de la Roque terroirs.
