Governance and managerial practices

1Managerial commitment

The managerial commitment covers three pillars of Sustainable Development (financial, social and environmental), from the planting of the vines to the marketing of the products.

2Strategy, policy and objectives

The strategy, policy and objectives are based on the three pillars of Sustainable Development.

3Management system

The company functions via a management system designed to integrate social and environmental aspects.

4Organization and responsibilities

The role and responsibilities of each employee with regard to Sustainable Development are clearly defined.

5Staff participation, involvement and motivation

Staff must be consulted; employee motivation is an important concern for all managers.

6Internal communication

Internal communication is from the top-down, organized and consistent.

7External communication

The company initiates discussions with all interested parties; the Sustainable Development report is distributed every year.

8Regulatory affairs

Regulatory supervision is highly organized.

9Universal principles are taken into account

The major principles are presented in the form of initiatives (use of environmentally-friendly products, strict respect for International Labour Organization regulations, etc.).

10Interested parties considered

Interested parties are identified, their expectations are prioritized and translated into challenges for the company.
